App Orchid (AO) was born as an AI platform company in 2014, building enterprise applications on the platform and licensing them to midsize and large companies. The AO platform also allows companies to build their own enterprise applications using its best of breed native AI capabilities.

In 2023, AO developed "Easy Answers", an Enterprise Insights and Decision Intelligence platform designed to accelerate time to insights as well as quality (accuracy) of insights. AO developed a patented technology which curates data, builds Knowledge Graphs and uses them as a semantic layer for LLM's to better understand and interpret the data, and leverages in house and external AI/ML models to deliver the fastest and deepest insight to the end user.

Problem statement

We’ve developed a patented technology which is being used by the Fortune 500 and mid/large companies to solve the “Last Mile Problem” - by that we mean 3 challenges: organizing disparate data, orchestrating AI models to make them consumable, and contextualizing data to make relevant to the end user in the form of visuals, analytics, text and more. This is what we mean by the Last Mile problem

Traction information

Two (2) specific AI-base applications, ContractAI and Easy Answers, have been successfully deployed with large Enterprise customers.

ContractAI has proven to reduce time to contract for large Enterprise companies like BP, Fidelity, and LNG (Shell company). For BP, contracting time has been reduced by 87% across 200+ suppliers. We've used NLP and linguistics to allow BP and others to better understand the risk and performance of their existing contracts to improve their ability to negotiate more favorable terms.
Easy Answers has been deployed to 10+ customers in just 2 years since product launch (Feb 2023). Notable clients included Blue Diamond, DFW Airport, Verizon, and American Water.
