About General Hypersonics, Inc

General Hypersonics, Inc. is platform hypersonic impulsive launch technology company serving missile defense, hypersonic test and evaluation markets and growing to serve the small payload responsive space launch market. Currently under contract with the US government and private industry, GHI aims to become the backbone of US Iron Dome & Hypersonic deterrence extending range of todays and in commercial and government space providing 24-7 responsive small payload space launch that is resilient, on-demand from anyone one earth from portable Launch rigs.

GHI is taking the lead in hypersonic launch for the defense and space sectors, delivering low-cost, rapid, and responsive solutions tailored to meet the demands of modern warfare and assured, responsive, resilient access to space. With decades of experience and industry veterans from Blue Origin, Stratolaunch, Boeing Sea Launch, and the USAF, our innovative technologies are designed to enhance national security and propel mission success.

Team

Problem statement

The US is simply way behind in hypersonic development. This is becoming a major security risk for the US.
The US lacks agile hypersonic technology development test platforms and has orders magnitude flight rep rate problems for defense and responsive space applications. Legacy hypersonic development programs are ineffective, massively expensive and have an extremely slow flight test rate. Big rockets do not scale for hypersonic defense and programs like the Navy Railgun have barrels that erode quickly and today's "latest" hypersonic test articles need large rocket booster of a large man-rated aircraft and solid rocket boosters to bring them on condition to hypersonic speeds before they can be tested. We have built a "Glass house" in space and our "Enemies have rocks" according the NRO. The US and its allies need assured, on-demand responsive space launch to replace 24-7 lost functionality in its space assets. General Hypersonics will address hypersonic defense and responsive space launch.

Traction information

Our dual-use hypersonic business model is funded and cash flowing with governemtn-private industry customers (Shell, Exxon, Major Mining Co) and under contract with US government (NASA, DOD), We have developed and demonstrated a low-cost automated turn-key hypersonic test and launch facility and win recurring business with this dual-use model. Our team is currently simultaneously funded by a federal defense agency (confidential) to complete Mach 5- Mach 7 demonstration of our latest hypersonic launch system as well as demonstrate commercial industrial use cases for strategic materials extraction with our hyperosonic impact. We have increased the frequency of hypersonic test and launch to 90 second cycle times and extremely low cost. We have industrialized repetitive low-cost hypersonics and lowered the cost of operations to gun-like and aircraft like repetitive operations.
