About Osoosi Corp.

Osoosi is building Artificial Pilot Awareness (APA), an aviation-specific AI copilot that brings real-time intelligence and decision support to the cockpit. By fusing vision, voice, and flight data, APA understands what’s happening in the aircraft and airspace, helping pilots reduce workload, prevent errors, and communicate more effectively with ATC. Our first product, Halo, delivers APA on the iPad, allowing pilots to access advanced copiloting assistance without modifying their aircraft.

Starting with general aviation, Osoosi is rapidly training APA in real operational environments, paving the way for expansion into commercial, defense, and eventually autonomous aviation. Our long-term vision is to build the cognitive layer that will power the future of flight.

Problem statement

Pilots today face high workload, radio congestion, and overwhelming information demands, contributing to a reality where 70% of aviation accidents stem from pilot error. Current cockpit tools are passive and fragmented, offering charts and checklists but no real-time intelligence or decision support. As pilot and ATC staffing shortages grow, both sides of the radio are struggling to keep pace with increasing airspace complexity.

At the same time, the future aviation ecosystem is rapidly evolving: autonomous aircraft, high-density air mobility, and next-generation ATC systems are emerging, but there is no standardized way for piloted aircraft to communicate their intent, state, or awareness into these autonomous networks. This creates a structural gap; piloted aircraft remain “opaque” to the automated systems that will soon manage much of the airspace.

The aviation industry lacks an adaptive, real-time awareness layer that supports pilots in the cockpit today while enabling piloted aircraft to safely coexist with autonomous aircraft and future intelligent ATC systems tomorrow.

Traction information

We’ve made rapid progress validating Halo and APA with real pilots. We launched our MVP on October 21, 2025 and now have active test pilots in our ground-testing program, with more on the waitlist. We’ve completed structured pilot interviews and continue adding new pilots per weekly, giving us one of the deepest customer-discovery pipelines in this space. Early testers are using Halo in real cockpit environments (ground simulations) to refine APA’s vision, voice, and checklist support. Across pilots, instructors, and aviation groups, we’re seeing strong demand signals for AI copiloting features that reduce workload and improve situational awareness.
