Ambient monitoring for human physiology and safety
Confirmed by founderRahm Sensor Development is building an ambient monitoring platform that continuously monitors human physiology, movement, and behavior without requiring anything to be worn or attached. Our proprietary technology combines radar, vision, and edge AI to detect meaningful changes in human state, deliver timely alerts, and help caregivers and staff respond faster. Cell-Guardian is commercially deployed across 12 public-safety facilities, with approximately 70 systems deployed and $300K in purchase orders. Silver-Guardian is expanding the platform into senior living, with active pilot testing across two sites and six units deployed. Founded by the team behind VetGuardian, a non-contact monitoring technology acquired by Zomedica for $18M in 2023, Rahm is following a proven commercialization strategy: establish commercial traction in public safety, scale into senior living, and expand into the home.

High-risk events often go unnoticed when people are alone. In public safety facilities, medical distress, self-harm, and unresponsiveness can occur between routine checks. In senior living, falls and medical emergencies can go undetected in private rooms. Older adults living independently face similar risks at home. Existing solutions rely heavily on manual checks, wearable devices, or cameras that provide only part of the picture. There is a growing need for continuous, privacy-conscious monitoring that does not require individuals to wear, charge, or activate a device.
Rahm has developed an ambient monitoring platform that combines radar sensing, vision, and edge AI to continuously monitor physiology, movement, and behavior without physical contact. Our multimodal approach detects meaningful changes in human state and converts them into actionable alerts and documented events, helping staff and caregivers respond faster. The platform powers Cell-Guardian for public safety and Silver-Guardian for senior living, with future expansion into home monitoring. One technology platform serves multiple markets without requiring individuals to wear or interact with a device.
Cell-Guardian is commercially deployed across 12 public-safety facilities, with approximately 70 systems deployed and over $360K in purchase orders. The company has an immediate sales pipeline of $611K and an additional $1.74M in proposals. Silver-Guardian has entered the senior living market, with active pilot testing across two sites and six units deployed. Rahm is building on the team's previous success with VetGuardian, a non-contact vital signs monitoring platform acquired by Zomedica for $18M in 2023. Both Guardian products are supported by Rahm's patented sensing technology and ongoing FDA regulatory development.
Cell-Guardian has secured over $360K in purchase orders across 14 orders, representing 72 devices. The platform has expanded to approximately 12 public safety facilities, demonstrating growing commercial traction and adoption of Rahm's contactless monitoring technology.
Rahm has raised $600K toward its $2M Seed II financing round, with a target to close by mid-November 2026. The funding will support manufacturing, sales expansion, and commercialization of Cell-Guardian and Silver-Guardian.
Rahm launched its Silver-Guardian 2.0 pilot at Timbers Assisted Living in Georgia, marking the next generation of its contactless resident monitoring technology. The system combines radar sensing and AI-powered fall detection to improve resident safety while preserving privacy.
