I am a Biomedical Engineer and Entrepreneur with a passion for creating globally accessible and impactful solutions.
I have been involved in various research projects on stem cells, cancer, drug delivery, regenerative medicine, and advanced biomaterials for the past 9 years.
Former researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where I developed my first prototype at 14. I also worked at the Skeletal Research Center with the late Dr. Arnold Caplan (a stem cell legend) studying the interaction between Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Cancer.
As the CEO & Co-Founder of Asclepii Inc., I co-created Artemis, a therapeutic platform that will turn a US$30.000 stem cell therapy into US$300. We raised over US$1 MM in non-dilutive funding before I graduated college through strategic international world-class R&D partners and KOLs. Including, for example, the Center for Modular Manufacturing of Structural Tissue at Case Western Reserve University (cm2ost.org), the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey, the NSF, the NIH, and the NBIB.
I also co-founded the Medical Technology Group at CWRU, a student organization that provides hands-on community-based learning and incubation support for biomedical engineering projects.
