Liga Ellere is a leader in driving international consortiums to introduce pioneering XR training technologies to military and civilian medical personnel. With a proven track record of advancing innovation, she helps SMEs position their technologies for adoption by decision-makers in EU and NATO defense procurement.
As Director at Exonicus, Liga spearheads marketing and strategic positioning, ensuring the company's dual-use solutions reach key stakeholders in the defense and medical training sectors. She holds an MBA in Innovation Management and an MSS in Public Management, equipping her with the expertise to navigate the intersection of technology, policy, and defense.
Before Exonicus, Liga led large-scale digital transformation initiatives as the Country Coordinator for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Libraries program, modernizing Latvian public libraries with computer technology, internet access, and digital skills training. She later transitioned to the telecommunications sector, pushing the adoption of cloud-based solutions for businesses.
Beyond her professional work, Liga is a dedicated advocate for digital inclusion, serving as an Ambassador for TechSoup, the world’s largest technology philanthropy program.
