Sandis Kondrats is the CEO of Exonicus, Inc., Exonicus Europe, and Exonicus R&D, leading innovation in medical training, military technology, and simulation. With a Master’s in Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Latvia, he merges artistic expertise with XR and VR technologies to advance medical simulation and defense training. A globally recognized expert in 3D visualization and human anatomy, Sandis co-authored Anatomy for Sculptors and Anatomy of Facial Expression, foundational works for medical and military training. His leadership has driven key R&D initiatives, including NATO’s Vigorous Warrior 2024, Female Combat Casualty Care SBIR Phase 2 (U.S. Army Applications Laboratory), and the development of the NATO-recognized Exonicus Trauma Simulator. Sandis is actively involved in NATO STO working groups, contributing to CBRN XR training, human injury modeling, and digital military education initiatives.
