Stephen DiBartolomeo

Biography

Stephen joined Scout with a passion for mission-focused teams and a desire to invest and participate in a future forged by science and technology. He works across the investment team, helping lead sourcing and diligence efforts and assisting with deal execution, portfolio support, and investor relations. Within Scout, Stephen is also incubating Chiplytics, a hardware security company he helped build and launch while working with Sandia National Lab. Stephen is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he studied Quantitative Economics. Out of Annapolis, Stephen was an early selectee to pursue graduate education at Johns Hopkins University where he earned an MS in Finance. He served in the Navy as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer, most recently as a product manager at the National Security Agency. He also taught cyber science as an adjunct professor at US Naval Academy. Stephen lives with his wife in Austin, TX. After hours, he enjoys biking in the woods, practicing yoga, and is an avid New York Islanders fan.
