Shoulder surgery is the second largest orthopedic surgery in the country with over 1 million procedures per year. There is a $250 million+ untapped market to address Sleep in recovery. We have a patented product with a 96% success rate of our patients averaging 6-8 hours of uninterrupted Sleep and are only serious competitor is a "recliner" which has proven to be effective as it pertains to Sleep, for the last 60 years. It is reasonable to expect to gain 50-75% market share in this untapped market we are basically creating.

Problem statement

The second largest orthopedic surgery in the country (Rotator Cuff) recovery process is universally known as a miserable 3–6-month recovery, with sleep deprivation being the biggest issue. Current post-surgical recovery methods, unchanged for over 60 years, result in patients getting only 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep while using a recliner. Since most patients must return to work within 1-2 weeks after surgery, this fog from sleep deprivation and how that exacerbates every other difficulty with the recovery, is what makes this such a miserable experience.

Our patients sleep in their own beds their first night home from surgery and average 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, awakening fully rested with little or no pain. These patient outcomes are just unheard of with this recovery and why we believe we will become the new standard of care for this and many other recoveries.
