Currently, Transmute's Verifiable Data Platform is being actively tested by users in commercial pilots with enterprises [like CANACERO and Microsoft] that span the supply chain, most notably in the steel, microelectronics and e-commerce industries. We expect traction to grow with importers, logistics enterprises, and information technology firms both commercial and government.
US Dept of Homeland Security SVIP + US Customs and Border Protection have been a paying customer of Transmute since 2019. Transmute is under an active Phase 5 contract to apply their product's use of DIDs, VCs, and Linked Data technologies to the importation of steel and e-commerce goods into the United States.
GS1, the leader in product identification today, contracted Transmute to test their tech in creating efficiencies in new product information. The result showed that by using Transmute's Verifiable Data Platform to combine GS1 Digital Link, Decentralized Identifiers, and Verifiable Credentials, we can build a trusted data ecosystem around GS1 identifiers. This ecosystem enables brands, retailers, and consumers to discover data, assimilate it from multiple sources, and validate its authenticity. Most importantly, that trust can be passed on to customers and partners.
