Patented groundwater intelligence platform combining remote sensing with proprietary field data.
Confirmed by founderWell Water Finders® is a groundwater intelligence company combining patented detection technology with its own field survey data to help evaluate groundwater before drilling, development, or infrastructure investment. The company's on-site survey is a physical visit to a property using patented equipment, measuring groundwater location, depth, and potential volume across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas. Recommended survey sites have achieved 90%+ survey-to-drill accuracy, confirmed by state-filed well reports. 3,800 of those surveys, enriched by historical well records, form the dataset behind the company's Groundwater Intelligence Platform. Two commercial applications launched in 2026: the Texas Well Water Map, a subscription platform covering all 254 Texas counties, and the Texas Property Water Profile, a per-property groundwater records report built for the TREC Form 61-0 seller's disclosure. Building on two issued U.S. patents and its patent-pending TunnelHawk™ system, Well Water Finders is expanding into broader subsurface intelligence applications, including underground leak detection, void identification, and infrastructure risk assessment. The company has been recognized by organizations including the Sustainable Innovation Council, CodeLaunch, Texas A&M New Ventures Competition, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, and the Realtors Land Institute.

50% of the world population relies on groundwater for drinking and irrigation. Yet the most common way of finding groundwater is drilling, which costs more than $9,000 per attempt and only has a 30-40% success rate in high-drought areas. The records that would answer it sit scattered across county offices and public databases, a gap for landowners and governments alike. And in a world where water is the next strategic resource driving global conflict, our data will be extremely valuable.
The Well Water Finders patented remote-sensing system is portable, easy to use, detects groundwater in seconds, and has a 90%+ accuracy rate confirmed by state-filed well reports. Those surveys, paired with drilled-well records from all 254 Texas counties, power the Texas Well Water Map and the Texas Property Water Profile, our report for the new Texas groundwater disclosure. Every region we map adds to a groundwater record that landowners, drillers, groundwater conservation districts, and planners can all put to work, and that gets more valuable as water gets scarcer.

Well Water Finders has launched two products that bring groundwater records and area-level analysis into Texas land decisions: the Texas Well Water Map and the Texas Property Water Profile.
Both grew out of the same fieldwork. Over three years, the company has run more than 3,800 on-site groundwater surveys across Texas using its patented detection equipment. Paired with historical drilled-well records from all 254 Texas counties, that survey data became the basis for Well Water Finders' Area Groundwater Intelligence - the company's own analysis of how drilling outcomes are distributed across an area.
The Texas Well Water Map puts that analysis in front of buyers, landowners, realtors, and drillers before a decision is made. Users search a Texas property and see the area's success-rate patterns, how deep wells in the area have tended to go, and how outcomes are spread across the surrounding geoblock. Free accounts start at the county level, with paid tiers resolving to a specific property.
The Texas Property Water Profile responds to a change in Texas practice. As of July 1, 2026, a groundwater disclosure became part of many Texas property sales. TREC Form 61-0 asks sellers to share what they know about the water tied to a property, including whether it sits inside a groundwater conservation district and what wells are on record.
Four ways to find a property - address, coordinates, Property ID or APN, or well number - and the Profile gathers the public records behind it into one download, saved to the user's account under My Property Water Profile Reports:
The groundwater conservation district the property falls in, with its website and contact
The water wells documented for the property in public records
The current property ownership on file
Each Profile also carries the company's Area Groundwater Intelligence for that property, the part a buyer weighs before an offer goes in. The Profile helps a seller answer the disclosure's groundwater questions. It does not complete the form or stand in for what the seller knows.
Together, the two products mark the shift the company has been building toward: groundwater decisions that start with the record rather than with a drill rig. Where a specific location needs ground-truth, an on-site survey remains the physical measurement at the coordinates surveyed.
Well Water Finders is the groundwater intelligence company for Texas and an Associate Member of the Realtors Land Institute.

Reliable groundwater access is foundational to:
We’re thrilled to announce that Well Water Finders® is the 2025 CodeLaunch World Champion!, taking home all three major awards: Judges' Choice, Investors' Choice and Audience Choice.
The competition pairs early-stage startups with professional software development teams from the company, Improving, for a fast-paced, high-impact product launch and this year, we were honored to be selected as the world champion, working alongside the incredible dev team at Improving OH/IO.
As part of the CodeLaunch experience, we collaborated with our team to advance the buildout of our groundwater intelligence platform, a next-gen system that will aggregate real-time aquifer data from across the country to help landowners, cities, and water managers make smarter, faster decisions.
Our pitch at the live finals focused on the urgent need for reliable groundwater access in drought-prone areas and how our patented electromagnetic tech is already delivering accurate groundwater surveys to customers across the southern U.S.
Thanks to the support of CodeLaunch and the Fuel Fund, we’re accelerating toward our next milestones and doing it with a growing network of allies, mentors, and supporters.
We’re proud to announce that Well Water Finders has been selected as one of only four startups representing the United States at the CodeLaunch World Championship, the premier global accelerator that pairs early-stage tech companies with professional development teams. As the #1 draft pick for CodeLaunch USA 2025, we’re honored to bring our mission, and our momentum, to the world stage.
Hosted by Improving and backed by an engaged community of founders, investors, and developers, CodeLaunch is not your average pitch competition. The CodeLaunch 2025 World Championship Event is a high-energy experience that combines startup innovation with a hackathon twist.
Being named the #1 Draft Pick means that we’ll be paired with one of the most elite coding teams in the world: OH/IO Improving Ohio. This professional dev team will co-develop and accelerate our technology leading up to the big stage event in November. For a hardware and data-driven company like ours, this kind of boost is game-changing!
