Arthur Garcia is the COO & co-founder of Trez (Techstars 23), the first payroll platform for US Latino businesses. Arthur grew up in the family restaurant business where he helped with the back office work of payroll and bookkeeping. After 17 years of working in the payroll and accounting technology industry at companies Paychex, and Xero, Arthur recognized that payroll was the key to serving the large underserved US Latino market where compliance and new legislation were increasing the wealth gap. Arthur is an alum of the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative - LBAN Program. In 2019, Arthur Co-founded Contabi Alliance, an international association of independent accounting firms. CPA Practice Advisor has recognized Arthur as a 2x TOP 20 Under 40 influencer for his work in the accounting industry. He has consulted hundreds of accounting firms and under his leadership, a large national tax and business services franchise was recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as a TOP 500 Franchise opportunity in 2019. Arthur is a published author and his story was included in the Book Hispanic Stars Rising: The New Face of Power.
